The new student recreation center at the Downtown campus, which broke ground in August, has been an ongoing construction project this semester.
The construction site, just south of the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA on First Avenue, will hold a 64,000-square-foot facility, to be called Y@ASU, upon completion. It is expected to be completed in fall 2013.
Designs for the new facility were presented to students last September.
