The University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management will join the university's medical center in downtown Phoenix in early September, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton announced Wednesday.
The first of the University of Arizona medical program's Mini Med School 2.0 free lectures was led by Dr. Zain Khalpey, who talked about saving and reconditioning organs, clinical trials and 3-D bioprinting.
In a long anticipated move, the University of Arizona’s Rural Health Professions Program has expanded to the university’s medical center in downtown Phoenix. Two of the program’s main focuses are increasing the number of graduates who practice in a rural setting and developing collaborative relationships with rural communities and faculty.
Friday marks the fifth annual Phoenix PARK(ing) Day. Downtown residents and organizations will occupy parking meters and set up activities or informational PARKS. PARK(ing) Day promotes both the downtown Phoenix community and environmental concerns with car use. The event is worldwide, spanning six continents.
