Practical Art, located north of Camelback Road on Central Avenue, will be celebrating its five-year anniversary this weekend. The event will feature food, beverages, live music and an art raffle.

Wednesday marked 32 years of the Governor’s Arts Awards, celebrating and recognizing artists, organizations, businesses, educators and individuals in Arizona. Gov. Jan Brewer opened the ceremony and congratulated the awardees.
