That Looks Like Fun: The Colorful Claw, Woof & Feathers of Brian Brooks & his Spectral Friends

Recommended if you like: tribal vibes, multimedia, the Heard Museum

Brian Brooks has a wild imagination. For his first solo show in his Phoenix hometown, Brooks created wild animations, paintings and prints filled with colorful and surreal depictions of personified animals and objects. There is a unique rush of fresh air that one gets from looking at Brooks’ works, where everything seems to be fine without humans. “Now That Looks Like Fun” will also present three new books by Brooks, each a collection of pen and ink drawings.
