Recommended if you like: remodernism, dark mixed media, Deux Ex Machina
Veteran mixed-media artist Jeff Falk is curating this month-long exhibit, opening on First Friday. Named after Falk’s own perception of the Phoenix art scene’s quiet “underdog” victories, “Dark Horse” brings together a large cast of Phoenix visual artists, musicians, spoken-word artists and more. First Friday’s opening reception will also feature the music of electronic duo Last Wave. At “Dark Horse,” Falk hopes to capture a snapshot of everything that is Phoenix art.
