Sean Deckert has been making waves in the Phoenix art scene for nigh half a decade now. Graduating from ASU, Deckert began with thoughtful photos in a journalistic style, building his reputation over a series of portraits of light-rail travelers. Over time, the artist began experimenting with holographic images of natural disasters sweeping Phoenix, before moving into video work. For his latest show, Deckert will utilize images captured during his time traveling through Israel and living in China, exploring a more minimalist style.
