Cronkite School hosts TV production
A section of First Street adjacent to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism was blocked off on Wednesday by the production of “Maneater,” a four-hour Lifetime Original Miniseries, as the Sony Pictures Television production rented the school for filming.

Light rail and car collide downtown
A light rail train collided with a car at the intersection of Seventh and Jefferson Streets at 9:50 a.m. on Friday. While there were no injuries, the car was severely damaged and the front right corner of the light rail was crushed by the impact.
