#NATIVEAMERICA

Recommended if you like: vintage neon signage, Americana, boardwalk art

Artist Jaque Fragua showcases his self-described “savage spray-paint style” in this exhibit that features signage reminiscent of corporate America blended with Native American themes. His found-object style represents hints at the decay of small towns, while exhibiting the strength of Native culture. Alongside classic U.S. themes, the paintings have an undertone of Native American oppression and social justice.
