IceHouse A.D.

Recommended if you like: Max Richter, Third Stream, mandala art

The Downtown Chamber Series will present its second concert of the year at the Icehouse on Saturday and Sunday. A group of 10 string players will perform two versions of The Four Seasons: the original masterpiece by Baroque composer Vivaldi and the modern interpretation by Piazzolla. Performing in the Silver Room of the Icehouse, the sound of the chamber orchestra will bounce off the walls, using the cavernous space to its advantage. Tickets can be purchased at the Downtown Chamber Series website. Alongside the Chamber Series, over the weekend the warehouse venue will feature an artist-designed miniature golf course, mandalas from Kathy Klein and Danmala, an exhibit from ASU’s Northlight Gallery, manhole covers from the ASU sculpture department and two photo exhibitions in the upstairs ice vaults.
